1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information

New Moon Nails and Spa is the nail salon and spa that provides services to you and receives your appointment information. Online booking on our website is powered by Everwood, our booking technology provider. Everwood provides the booking software used on our website, and appointment information you enter passes through Everwood’s systems in order to support scheduling and management of appointments at New Moon Nails and Spa. Everwood does not own or operate New Moon Nails and Spa.

• Privacy or data requests (access, correction, deletion): contact New Moon Nails and Spa using the details in Section 12. We will work with our booking technology provider where a request involves information held in the booking system.

2. Information We Collect

When you book an appointment through the Everwood booking widget on our website, you may provide the following, depending on the fields the widget presents:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address, when provided
• The service you request
• A selected employee or nail technician, if you choose one
• Appointment date and time
• Party size, when applicable
• Appointment notes or special requests
• Information entered during the booking conversation

Please share only information related to your appointment. Do not enter sensitive information such as medical diagnoses, financial account details, or government identification numbers into booking notes or messages.

The website and booking systems may automatically receive limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the services, such as browser, device, network, and server-log information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not currently send automated appointment-related text messages. New Moon Nails and Spa may use the phone number you provide to contact you directly when necessary to manage your appointment.

We do not sell or rent your phone number or email address, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Providing your contact information does not enroll you in promotional email or text-message marketing.

5. How Your Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. To operate the website and manage appointments, your information may be shared with the following categories of service providers:

• Booking technology provider — Everwood. Information entered into the booking widget passes through Everwood’s systems at everwoodtech.tech so that New Moon Nails and Spa can schedule and manage appointments.
• Email delivery provider — Resend. Everwooduses Resend to deliver transactional appointment emails, such as booking confirmations and reminders. Resend may process the customer’s email address and the contents of the message for email-delivery purposes.
• Maps provider — Google Maps.The Contact page embeds a Google Map. When the map loads, Google may receive technical information such as the visitor’s IP address, browser information, and device information.
• Website hosting and infrastructure providers. These providers host, secure, and deliver the website and related systems.
• Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of New Moon Nails and Spa, our customers, or the public.

No automated text-message delivery provider is currently used for appointment communications, and no analytics or advertising provider has been identified in the New Moon Nails and Spa website codebase.

These service providers process information according to the services they provide, their agreements with the applicable business, and their own privacy practices.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Services

The New Moon Nails and Spa website and the Everwood booking experience may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar browser technologies to operate website and booking features.

The Everwood booking experience may use browser storage that is necessary to load the widget, maintain booking progress, and support the appointment-selection process.

The Contact page contains an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, Google may receive technical information from the visitor’s browser or device and may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google’s own privacy practices.

No advertising pixels or cross-site advertising trackers have been identified in the New Moon Nails and Spa website codebase.

You can control or delete many cookies and browser-storage items through your browser settings. Disabling browser storage needed by the booking experience may prevent some booking features from working correctly.

If nonessential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies are added later, this policy and any legally required preference controls will be updated.

7. Payments

The New Moon Nails and Spa website and current Everwood booking experience do not collect payment-card information, deposits, or card holds during online booking.

Customers pay for salon services separately according to the payment methods accepted by New Moon Nails and Spa.

If online payments, deposits, or card holds are introduced in the future, the applicable price, timing, refund terms, and payment provider will be disclosed before the customer completes the transaction. This Privacy Policy and the Appointment Information page will also be updated.

8. Data Retention

We retain appointment and customer information only for as long as reasonably necessary to schedule and manage appointments, provide salon services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce applicable policies, and satisfy legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record and the reason it is maintained. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise disposed of, subject to legitimate legal and business recordkeeping requirements.
